Looking back at 2025

December 19, 2025

Grateful for the people, the stories, and the moments that made this year unforgettable

As this year wraps up, I’ve been looking back at the wild, wonderful, and occasionally chaotic world of real estate…and honestly, I’m just grateful. Grateful for the trust, the referrals, the late-night texts, the people who cheer me on, and the people who let me step in when life starts shifting in big ways.

And I want to say something I fully believe: I love working with my friends and family. I don’t buy into the idea that you shouldn’t mix the two. My closest people know how seriously I take this job, and it means the world that they come to me when something as important as a home (or a major life change) is on the line.

Two stories from this year sit at the top of my heart.

The first: friends who decided it was time to move out of the country. Huge life leap, big price point at 1.25 million, and the expectation that we might be on the market for a little while. But sometimes the universe likes to show off. A few showings later, the very first buyers who toured the home fell in love, wrote a strong offer, and even let the sellers stay for six weeks after closing. Seeing friends take such a massive step, and watching the right buyers appear at the perfect moment, still gives me chills.

The second: another set of friends started out selling on their own. They’ve bought and sold plenty of properties and genuinely know what they’re doing, so it made perfect sense for them to try it that way first. After a few months on the market, they decided to loop me in so we could take a fresh approach together. We listed it, had one showing, and that one showing turned into one fantastic offer, closing in less than 30 days. It was the perfect reminder that real estate isn’t always about the number of people coming through the door, sometimes it’s simply about the right buyer showing up at the right moment and seeing the home exactly as it’s meant to be seen.

Helping the people I love navigate big transitions is the highlight of my year. It’s more than contracts and closings. It’s being part of chapters that genuinely matter.

So here’s to everyone who trusted me this year: clients, friends, family, colleagues, partners, and the vendors who kept things moving when I needed them most. You made my year. Truly.

And here’s to the next one. More growth, more good stories, more right-buyer-right-home magic.

Thanks for being here with me.
